Last December 28, we celebrated my (gasp!) 29th birthday and our 3rd year wedding anniversary. While we usually have dinner with our families, this year we decided to go on a mini road trip.. just us.

First up though was lunch with khunta (grandfather in thai) who was in town for the holiday season. He was leaving the day after so we came over to say farewell.

After a yummy and satisfying meal cooked by dad, we headed for Paseo de Santa Rosa for some shopping before going up to Tagaytay. 

Have you guys been to the outlets in Santa Rosa? Geez, they are amazeballs! We got so many awesome deals! My favorite store is Brand Smart. The minute you step in, you’ll understand why :)

Wyatt was asleep pretty much the whole time we were shopping so that was good. After a good 2 hours of going around, it was time to leave..

We brought Little Mr. W to Cliffhouse to see the view. Wes and I used to go there and have dates (cheesy!) The weather was nice and cool, perfect for a cup of piping hot chocolate. While we were sipping our drinks, a couple of teenage girls came up to us and asked if they could have a photo taken with Wyatt. Of course Wes being the super proud dad that he is, agreed on the spot and immediately reported the incident to the grandmothers. Haha! 

Wesley found this cute little restaurant in the middle of nowhere called Chateau Hestia. He also had a couple of special requests:

A whole room all to ourselves! Love the little high chair! 

The room was full of beautiful paintings from some of our favorite artists.

The food was really good! We had the kummelbraten (Viennese Roast Pork) and a sausage platter. I definitely want to go back and try the other entrees!

Last weekend, my closest friends and family threw us a super awesome baby shower. Wesley and I are were so touched to see all the hard work and effort that they put into planning the event. A special shout out to Christine (aka Bully), Mary, JK, Ria, Cil, Alexis, Fanny and Happy for preparing everything and of course my sis-in-law Tin (yes, this month’s Yummy Mummy) for creating the giveaways.
