MUD (Make-up Designory) Personal Make-up Class

Over the weekend, I learned a new skill. Applying my own make-up! For years I’ve entrusted my face to my fabulous sister-in-law Christine Rojas-Lavina and friend Jasmine Mendiola ( she did my makeup for my wedding and I’ve never felt more beautiful!)

I never really learned how to do a basic everyday face or a polished more formal night look. I’d usually just schlep on mascara blush and some lipstick and walk out the door. Well, luck duck that I am, Jasmine gifted me with a whole day course on Personal Makeup from MUD (Make-up Designory) at Pure Beauty, Serendra. The personal make-up course is an intensive one day class that tackles everything from grooming your eyebrows, to choosing and applying foundation, everyday eye make-up, smokey eyes for night and applying falsies. I found all the topics to be completely helpful and essential— must have skills for every woman.

Each student is required to bring her own makeup and brushes. The makeup instructor will then check your tools and colors and give recommendations based on your kits.

Myr our instructor was very helpful, patient and funny! She taught us by example and inspected each and everyone of our faces and helped us correct basic mistakes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my class and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn basic make-up! :)

Thanks again Jasmine, such a wonderful treat!
